A long time ago, the Great Wall stretched across China ,Emperor Li and his daughter, Ming Ming ruled.Their enormous and beautiful palace sat at the bottom of a high hill surrounded by a high stone wall that kept Emperor Li and Ming Ming safe from invaders and wild animals.What an enjoyable life!

One day, the palace was attacked by armies from the land of Ku Shu. The high stone wall was blown to rubbles. Enemy troops marched into the kingdom. Emperor Li was worried for the safety of his family and fellow countrymen. Although he was safe for the time being, the "caring" emperor wanted to help his loyal citizens. He first asked them to evacuate to the basement of his palace while he think of a plan to save them all and get their beautiful stone wall back.

While he was in a dilemma, one of his servants came and gave him a nicely wrapped parcel from the king of Vietnam, King Wayne. King Wayne has worked with Emperor Li for almost twenty years thinking of how to make their country a better place for their own people. The gift was a " Dong Song Drum" which was believed to take spirits to the after world as King Wayne himself is a very superstitious man, wanted to help teach the people of Ku Shu a lesson.Inside the parcel there was a note from King Wayne " This can take his soul to the after world leaving his body behind. Just follow the following instructions: ......

Suddenly, he stumbled upon a fantastic idea. Knowing that the General of the enemy troops was a superstitious man too, he rushed to his bedroom and took the" Dong Song Drum". Emperor Li Knew how the General felt about death-a taboo not to be spoken with. With the drums in his hands, Emperor Li dashed to his front door and threw the drum at the General. The General than shouted " AAH! I have only left a short time to live! The horror! My spirit! It's going to the after world! Quick! Troops! Retreat and get me the fortune teller!" In a blink of an eye, the General and his troops scooted off hurriedly screaming " Hurry! He's going to die!"From that day on, the General never returned and the whole China rebuild the Great Wall and up till now, the people of China are still findig out if the General is dead of alive.
